Sephora and Inglot Haul

Hi beautiful people out there! (:

A few weeks ago I visited my aunties and their families in Warsaw, Poland.  Besides having very delicious food and a lot of fun hanging out with my cousins, I went shopping of course!
Shopping in Warsaw is a lot more fun than shopping in any city in Germany. First of all: clothing-wise there are more international brands (forever21, Topshop, Bershka, Banana Republic, New Look, etc.) and it is not as hard to find fitting clothes for small, petite girls like me.
But most importantly there's a Sephora in every mall in Warsaw! Why the ridiculous excitement some of you may ask. - Well, we don't have Sephora in Germany.

On a sunny afternoon my sister, my cousins and I went to a mall and I decided that I want to have one of Inglot's freedom system palettes. Since Inglot is a Polish brand I thought it might be a good souvenir. Especially because I don't really like the cheesy, touristy souvenirs.
All the colors I chose are shimmery because I don't use matte colors that often. The pigmentation of each eyeshadow is pretty good and the price is very reasonable too (about 4€/eyeshadow).

After half an hour we went to Sephora and one of my cousins gave me her Sephora Card (you get 20% off every item). Girls, I was full of excitement! I went to every display, every shelf and touched, smelled and swatched EVERYTHING. It was kind of embarrassing because there was a shop assistant who followed me around the shop. Probably because she thought the weird Asian girl that doesn't speak Polish is a shop lifter.
Though I was so excited at the beginning I ended up buying less than I thought I would.

1 Sephora Long Lasting Kohl Pencil in 08 Pure White
2 Sephora Nano Eye Pencil in 05 Chocolate
3 Sephora Jumbo Liner 12h Wear Waterproof 10 Green
4 Sephora Jumbo Liner 12h Wear Waterproof 11 Turquoise
5 Sephora Ultra Vinyl Lip Pencil in 03 Vinyl Raspberry
6 Sephora Ultra Vinyl Lip Pencil in 06 Strawberry Delish

I looove Sephora Eyeshadow Pencils! They are insanely pigmented, versatile and don't smudge as much. Most of the time I used them as eye liner but you can also use them as a eyeshadow base or eyeshadow.

Yet another drugstore haul

Lovelies, I just couldn't resist.. ;) Went to to town with my boyfriend on Friday with the intention on just stucking up on a few bits and bobs I needed.. and ended up buying a few more things.. (sorry for the crappy quality, just a quick snapshot from my phone)

Let's start with the rather boring bits though.. I got myself a new pair of contactlenses and the liquid to store them in over night - and yes, I'm kinda blind without my lenses.  Then I repurchased my Bebe young care make up removing wipes for sensitive skin. I like them to get off the oily feeling after using my eye make up remover pads and I find that these ones are the only face wipes that don't make my face itch.. so I repurchased them countless times already.

I also got myself a new Schwarzkopf Got2be 'Schutzengel', a heat protecting spray. I simply adore the smell of it (as I mentioned before, I think) and repurchased it quite a few times as well. I don't really know if it is better than other heat protection sprays, but it does the job and works fine for me.
Then, right next to it one the shelf I grabbed something that hit my attention a few times already, so I splurged out and got it this time: The Scharzkopf Got2be 'Schmusekatze', a antifrizz lotion. Only tried it once so far, but as the Schutzengel spray, it smells really got and helped to tame down my frizzy hair, as I didn't feel like straightening it at the weekend. I'll give it another few tries and let you know, if you're interested in that. (:

Next I got a new showergel by Balea, DMs own brand. I love their relaxing showergels and this is one I didn't try before (I think it's a rather new one, too?!) - it smells really sweet, a bit of cherry might be in it, I'm not too sure - but I do like it a lot. Not for everyday, but when I come home from after a long day of uni and work and just want to hop into bed after my shower. ;)

I also finally bought one of the Maybelline Baby lips in 'cherry me'. It reminds me a lot of the Labello fruity shine in 'cherry', to be honest, but it feels a bit softer on the lips, a bit more silicony perhaps. For winter I quite like that though, so I might have to get another one of these.

And, last but not least, I finally bought one of the Manhattan lip laquers in '005 Mystic Midnight'. Only swatched on my hand so far, but I shall give it a go tomorrow (and if I do, stay tuned for a photo on my instagram for that ;) )

Have you tried any of these products yet? Do you love, hate them? What do you think about the Maybelline baby lips balms? Are they really worth the hype or just another (slighty pricier) lipbalm?

Talk soon,

Unpacking: dm Lieblinge Box November

Hi lovely people out there!

I picked up my dm-Lieblinge box today and thought it would be nice to unpack it and show it to you immediately.
For all of you who don't know what the dm-Lieblinge box is, I'll try to explain it really quick:
  • for not Germany based readers: dm is a German drugstore, "Lieblinge" means favorite
  • it is in a way similar to the monthly beauty box subscriptions e.g. Glossy Box, Birchbox, Douglas Box of Beauty
  • but you have to enter the dm-Lieblinge competition on their official website which takes place every 3 months (the next one is in January) to win a 3-months-subscription as there are only 5000 boxes each month
  • if you are one of the 5000 lucky people you'll receive an email when your box arrives at your local dm store
  • the box contains products which are usually sold in store
  • dm has a wide range of products such as cleaning supplies, organic food, toiletries and beauty products
  • cost: 5€

The packaging is really lovely, don't you think?

Content of the box (left to right):
  • Olaz Regenerist CC Complexion Corrector, 50ml - 19,95€
  • L'Oréal Paris EverRich Absolutes Haarzauber-Öl (UK: L'Oréal Hair Expertise EverRiche Oil Precieux; France: L'Oréal Sérum et huile cheveux Haute Expertise EverRiche l'Huile Absolute), 150ml - 9,95€
  • Balea Dusch-Bodymilk (shower gel with a milky consistency), 400ml - 2,95€
  • L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes excess Noir Mascara, 11,85€
  • Balea Street Art Showergel mit Beerenduft (berry scent), 250ml - 0,85€
  • Profissimo Gewürzbeere (berry-cinnamon scent) Duftlichte, 18 candles - 2,95€

I cannot wait to try the hair oil as my hair is currently quite try because of all the colorations in the last months.

The moment I saw the mascara I was very excited! As an Asian girl with short Asian lashes I'm always keen to try new mascaras to find the one.

Unfortunately the CC Cream is for fair skin. And I don't really have fair, light skin... I'll probably give it a shot. But I think it will end up in Taddy's beauty shelf for her to try out. :D

I really like the content of my box and I'm looking forward to try everything. (:

Sweater Weather TAG

As everyone seems to be doing it right now, and as autumn is actually my favourite season, it just seemed right to the TAG as well..

Favourite candle scent?
I'm not a candle-holic as most bloggers and youtubers these days, but I do have a few Yankee Candle tarts, which I like. I don't burn them too often though, so I don't think it's fair to call one of them a favourite, but currently I'm using up Vanilla Cupcake. (:

Coffee, tea  or hot chocolate?
At the moment I'm  a huge tea lover, especially black tea with honey or green tea with lemon, but I can't wait to have my hot chocolate at the christmas market soon.. and, I do love my coffee for early mornings  and late night work shifts (or well, cappuccino to be precise ;) )

What's the best autumn memory you have?
I went to Turkey with my parents for my mums my birthday this year and that was really, really nice. I hadn't been in over three years and really enjoyed it. (:
When it comes to childhood memories I loved picking up chestnuts and making little chestnut men <3

Which make up trend do you prefer: Winged Eyeliner or dark lips?
I was an wingend eyeliner girl for most of my make up years (that makes me sound a lot older than I am.. haha) - but currently I do prefer light eyeshadows and a dark lip for some reason. I also really love dark, matte lips. I shall do a blogpost about my favourite lipsticks soon, don't you think..? ;)

Hats or scarves?
Scarves. All the way, all year round. I do love my scarfs. <3

Most worn jumper?
That's a hard one. As it is quite cold in Germany most of the time, I love to wear jumpers.. especially for uni as they're so comfy, too. At the moment I fell in love with a plan black, huge, really comfy jumper which I bought in H&M years ago. I also have an oxblood coloured one, which hangs off one shoulder and has a few buttons on that shoulder part, which is huge and comfy, too. I'm gonna add some pictures of me wearing them as soon as I can take picture with daylight again ;)

Favourite autumn nail polish?
Dark reds or black or plummy colours  - like P2 110 dating time (which is a lovely oxblood colour) or Catrice 38 Vino Tinto (which is a lovely plummy purple) - and love to add glitter polishes at the moment, too - Getting into the christmas vibe already ;)

Skinny jeans or leggings?
Leggings, for sure. I love to pair them with really slouchy sweaters to be really comfy all day. (:

Boots or Uggs?
I don't own a pair of Uggs, just a pair of fake ones and although they're comfy, they're not really waterproof, so I normally go more for boots. For unidays normally just flat black bikerboots (:

Hope you enjoyed my take on this and as I said, I'll add some pictures tomorrow when it's not pitch black outside.

Talk to you very soon,

New in.

If you follow me on Instagram already these products might not surprise you, but I think most of you don't so I thought I show them off here as well anyway. (: I went to DM to just quickly pick up my favourite mascara again, because I ran out of it - as you can see it's the Catrice - Lashes to kill Volume waterproof and it is the best mascara I ever tried. I normally don't go for waterproof mascara as you might now, because they're such a pain to remove, but this one is really worth the extra minute I have to spent wiping it off my face again. It is to date the only mascara that doesn't smudge on me and holds the curl.

Also, I picked up the Essence Studio Nails - Better than gel nails Topsealer. I loved the old formula and am a bit scared if I will love the new as much, but I shall give it a try.. cause all other topcoats leave me with bed sheets prints on my nails, even if I paint them hours before going to bed. So please don't let me down, Essence (I still don't get why they had to redo the topsealer in the first place anyway?!).. I make sure to let you know if it (still) does wonders to my nails. ;)

Aaand, finally, as I wandered around the drugstore, I found a lot of freshly arrived Limited Editions - yayyy.. and as you can see I couldn't resist. But could you? I'm normally not a huge blusher person but this one is just so damn pretty. <3 It's a Catrice Blusher from the Rocking Royals Limited Edition in the colour c01 Punk up the Royals. I used it once already, but only the lighter shade and eventhough I'm veeery fair it still didn't look clowny - so thumbs up for that. For autumn I like to go for darker colours and I think the darker red shade (which has a bit of golden shimmer in it) might look really pretty in winter, because I hope it'll make me look like I've been outside for a few hours eventhough I just spent the day inside uni. I'll let you know as soon as I gave it a go.  (:

Have you bought anything from the latest Limited Editions? Have you tried the new formulated Topsealer? Let me know and I'll talk to you very soon, lovelies. (:
